The Chicago Bulls of the North American professional basketball league, the NBA, will need to find a new head coach.
As the Bulls announced on Tuesday, Billy Donovan will not return to the team for the upcoming season.
«After a series of in-depth and extensive conversations with the owner, I have decided to step down as head coach,» said Donovan, who had an option to extend his employment.
Bulls owner Jerry Reinsdorf stated that it was «beyond question» that the franchise wanted to continue working with Donovan.
