"Even the Emperor of China Couldn't Poach Them": Bayern Patron Uli Hoeneß Addresses Michael Olise Transfer Rumors

The feared attacking trio of Michael Olise, Harry Kane, and Luis Díaz will undoubtedly remain at FC Bayern, a fact emphatically confirmed by honorary president Uli Hoeneß on Thursday.

Hoeneß stated he "laughed himself to death" over the transfer speculation surrounding the Frenchman Olise, speaking on the sidelines of a test match against FC Rottach-Egern (15:0). "I just checked how long his contract is. Three years. For me, that's not an issue at all. Even the Emperor of China could come now, and we wouldn't talk to him anymore."

The same applies to the Colombian Díaz and, in general, to all players. "We would have to be insane. You spend 60 or 70 million, maybe get 120 back. And then you chase after others, about whom you don't know how they'll perform with us," Hoeneß remarked. Recently, there had been speculation about Olise moving to Real Madrid.

The record champions are in the "fortunate position of having the best trio in the world with Díaz, Kane, and Olise," Hoeneß emphasized. He added that Bayern would "have to be hit with a collection plate if they even considered selling one of them."
