Satou Sabally Wins WNBA Sister Act, Leonie Fiebich Sets Season High

Satou Sabally emerged victorious in the WNBA’s «Sister Act» against her sister, Nyara Sabally.

The elder of the two German national basketball players, playing for the New York Liberty, secured a 97-82 win against the Toronto Tempo. This marked the sixth victory in ten games for her team. Toronto now holds a balanced record of 5-5.

Satou Sabally, 28, played just under 14 minutes in her second game back after an illness, but managed to score twelve points and grab five rebounds. Her sister Nyara, two years younger, started for Toronto and contributed eleven points, six rebounds, and three assists.

National team colleague Leonie Fiebich scored more points than both Sabally sisters. Her 14 points (along with two rebounds and four assists) represented a season best in her third appearance.
