Nach großen Verletzungssorgen: PSG kann vor Kracher gegen den FC Bayern wohl endgültig aufatmen

Paris Saint-Germain appears to have a nearly full squad available for their Champions League semi-final first leg against FC Bayern on Tuesday, a welcome relief after significant injury worries.

At the final training session on Monday afternoon, coach Luis Enrique had both Vitinha and Achraf Hakimi, who had been sidelined with minor injuries or knocks, participating. «Everyone is ready, there are no question marks,» Luis Enrique stated after the session to the club’s TV channel.

Midfield general Vitinha had missed the last two league matches against FC Nantes and Angers SCO (both 3-0 wins) due to a heel injury.

Vitinha’s compatriot Nuno Mendes, who had made a brief return in Angers after recovering from a thigh issue, was also present. The same applied to World Player of the Year Ousmane Dembele, as well as attacking stars Desirée Doue and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, all of whom had been completely rested in the recent league fixtures.

Consequently, Enrique will likely only be without winger Quentin Ndjantou (thigh). Club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi visited the team during Monday’s training session at the PSG campus in Poissy, northwest of Paris. He was seen conversing with squad planner Luis Campos off the pitch.
