As reported by Sport Bild at the end of March, Liverpool was even prepared to offer €200 million for Olise.
Rummenigge Makes It Clear: Olise Will Not Be Sold
It appears those clubs can forget about it. Rummenigge clarified, «In 2009, we received an incredible offer from Chelsea for Franck Ribéry. It would have been a new world transfer record at the time. I then went to our then-financial director Karl Hopfner and Uli Hoeneß. We discussed what to do with that offer for two hours.»
