September 19, 2026Carlos Mendoza1 мин

The players selected for the upcoming international break, starting after this Serie A matchday, have been confirmed. This break follows the Friday opener between Monza and Sassuolo.

Before detailing the selections made by European and non-European national team coaches concerning Inter players, two significant additions to the club's roster are noteworthy: Josep Martinez and Andy Diouf have received their first senior national team call-ups.

Martinez earned his call-up to the Spanish squad due to Joan Garcia's injury in Barcelona's recent 7-2 victory over Racing Santander. Diouf, on the other hand, was selected by France not as a replacement for an injured player, but for his standout performances as a right winger. He particularly impressed the French coach, Zinedine Zidane, during the match at the Bernabeu against Real Madrid, where he won most of his duels against Marc Cucurella.

Called-up Players
Here is the complete list of Inter players called up by their respective national teams: J. Martinez (Spain), Bisseck (Germany), Akanji (Switzerland), Bastoni (Italy), Dimarco (Italy), Barella (Italy), Zielinski (Poland), Stankovic (Serbia), Sucic (Croatia), Diouf (France), Lautaro (Argentina), Pio Esposito (Italy), Bonny (France).
