Juventus star Paulo Dybala is having a rough start of the season, with an injury that prevented him to play first then other problems that kept him from reaching his best physical shape.
Things got worse, after La Joya was under attack from some Juve supporters, after the club’s 1-1 draw against Lazio this weeked.
La Gazzetta Dello Sport talks about this:
Paulo Dybala spent the night after Lazio-Juventus sleepless: the error (which caused the throw-in from which the equalizer was born) was added to the pain caused by a bad urinary tract infection, a relapse after the one he had had a month ago in the national team and that prompted him to give up the new call-up.
The break will serve him to heal himself and to regain his shape but also to get out of a gray area in which he does not feel at ease.
Paulo needs to go back to being the star with the magic touch, the one who enchants, entertains and has fun on the pitch, and Juventus also needs him to fight for the Scudetto, as shown by the numbers of a slow start in the league compared to previous seasons.
In football, everything is quickly forgotten, but the numbers remain: Dybala scored 96 goals in 234 games and ended 2019-20, despite Covid, as a Serie A MVP.
At 26, he is a club heritage and recovering it is a necessity for Juventus as well.
Paulo yesterday took a break from social media (the fans do not forgive) and found comfort in the greeting chat to Del Piero (who turned 46), one who has always known how to get up again after a fall.
Dybala will rest for the next 3 days, waiting to see if he can return to Continassa on Thursday to train with the others.
He will talk to Andrea Pirlo, because never as in this moment, he needs to feel the confidence, and then he will start working with his head down: 2020 now looks gloomy but there is still time to color the final.
