A bizarre turn of events has unfolded in the case of the vanished Füchse Berlin championship trophy.
The prestigious "Meisterschale," awarded to the German handball champions, has been discovered in the basement of the club's own business office. Füchse Berlin announced the surprising find on Monday, expressing their astonishment over the recovery of the trophy, which had been missing since last November.
"Honestly, I still can't quite believe it, but the trophy is back," stated managing director Bob Hanning. "We can all rejoice that this tradition is preserved and that the teams who have won and will win it can once again hold it in their hands."
