The 34-year-old Brazilian contributed to both goals, directly assisting the opener. Throughout the match, he faced intense provocation and reacted aggressively after a clash with Diego Hernandez in the second half. Neymar directed his frustration at referee Savio Peira Sampaio. "This card is unfair. At the end of the game, I was the victim of a dangerous, unnecessary tackle. For years, women have been made to feel guilty about their periods. A simple biological process seen as something dirty, hormonal fluctuations and physical pain invalidated. And there are people who defend that."

Neymar's team, Santos, currently sits in 13th place in the Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A with ten points after nine matchdays out of 20 teams. In four league appearances, he has scored three goals and provided two assists so far this season.
