Harry Kane's Bayern Future: Uli Hoeneß Warns of Saudi Arabian Interest

Harry Kane and FC Bayern Munich simply seem to be a perfect match, yet honorary president Uli Hoeneß has now issued a caution regarding the star striker's future.

The 32-year-old English forward is currently in the form of his life, and the German record champions would gladly extend his contract, which is set to run until 2027. However, Bayern patron Uli Hoeneß has shared a word of warning.

Discussions about the goal scorer's future beyond 2027 are still pending, but Bayern remains relaxed. Hoeneß expressed satisfaction that Kane 'did not activate his exit clause, which means he is definitely under contract here until the summer of 2027.'

Kane's contract had an exit clause that would have allowed him to leave FCB in the summer of 2026 for a transfer fee estimated at €60 to €70 million. However, he would have had to activate this clause by February at the latest, which Kane chose not to do.

Kane Open to Contract Extension at Bayern

"What I hear and feel," Hoeneß remarked, "is that he and his family feel extremely comfortable here." But the honorary president immediately followed up with a warning: "However, you never know if a Saudi comes along and puts big money on the table… But he truly feels so good!"

The "feel-good factor" is a crucial condition for Kane, a family man, which is why he has repeatedly emphasized his positive stance towards extending his stay in Munich. He stated previously, "I am sure there will be discussions about the future and Bayern's plans in the coming months." He added that he couldn't imagine "anything changing in the near future."

If Hoeneß has his way, Kane's performance levels also shouldn't change anytime soon, as the superstar can 'play at this level for at least another three or four years' because 'he is a perfect professional who takes care of his body. He is always diligent with rehabilitation and physiotherapists.'
