Second-division club Hannover 96 and Jörg Schmadtke are parting ways after a mere 81 days. The promotion-contending club announced on Sunday the "amicable separation" from the former sports managing director, effective March 31. His position will be temporarily filled by CEO Henning Bindzus and Sporting Director Ralf Becker; a permanent replacement will be decided "in due course," as stated by the club.
