German basketball prodigy Hannes Steinbach made a lasting impression in his final outing of the NBA Summer League.

In his fifth appearance for the Charlotte Hornets, the 20-year-old from Würzburg recorded his third double-double of the tournament. Despite his impressive 22 points and eleven rebounds, it wasn't enough to secure a victory, as the Hornets fell to the Sacramento Kings with a score of 90:92.

Earlier in the competition, Steinbach had delivered a standout performance against Milwaukee, tallying 27 points and 15 rebounds. National team player Christian Anderson also started against the Kings and impressed with 15 points.

Summer League: Hornets Secure Only One Win Despite Steinbach's Efforts

Throughout the tournament in Las Vegas, a platform for newly drafted players and emerging talents to showcase their skills, the Charlotte Hornets managed to win only one of their five games.

Despite the team's overall results, Steinbach, who was the 14th pick in this year's draft, and Anderson (18th pick) could be satisfied with their individual performances.
