German basketball sensation Eric Reibe and the UConn Huskies have secured a coveted spot in the March Madness Final Four, following a thrilling 73-72 victory over the Duke Blue Devils in a quarterfinal clash. The decisive moment came with just 0.4 seconds left on the clock, when Braylon Mullins sank a game-winning three-pointer from beyond ten meters, thus eliminating Duke, a team featuring Cameron Boozer, a potential top prospect in the upcoming NBA Draft.

Reibe contributed two points, one rebound, and one assist off the bench during his seven minutes of play. His German teammate, Dwayne Koroma, did not see action in the game.

The Huskies, with Reibe, will now face the Illinois Fighting Illini in the semifinal. The other Final Four matchup will see Ivan Kharchenkov, the 2024 U18 European Champion, and the Arizona Wildcats take on the Michigan Wolverines, who previously defeated the Tennessee Volunteers 95-62 in their quarterfinal.
