Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund is sending Brazilian defender Yan Couto to Italian Champions League debutants Como 1907.
BVB confirmed the loan deal on Thursday evening in a brief statement, with the terms of the agreement remaining confidential.
According to consistent media reports, Como will pay a loan fee of around two million euros for the 24-year-old right-back. Furthermore, the club managed by head coach Cesc Fabregas is reportedly set to acquire a purchase option in the region of approximately 20 million euros.
The former Manchester City defender initially joined Dortmund on loan in the summer of 2024, before the Bundesliga club activated a purchase obligation reportedly worth 25 million euros. However, Couto often found himself as the second choice behind Norwegian Julian Ryerson.
