Karamba Guirassy, the 30-year-old’s brother and agent, has dismissed rumors of a completed transfer to Istanbul club Fenerbahce, stating: «To be clear: no agreement of any kind has been reached. Serhou is currently evaluating his options for the coming season. Claims of a verbal agreement are simply untrue.»
Despite this denial, there is no immediate relief for Borussia Dortmund. The fact that the prolific striker is exploring his options underscores the precarious situation for the club. Guirassy, who has been BVB’s outstanding goalscorer since his arrival in the summer of 2024, is attracting interest from top European clubs.
