Dusan Vlahovic's Farewell to Juventus: "Difficult to Find the Right Words"
Dusan Vlahovic has penned a heartfelt farewell to Juventus, stating, "There are moments when finding the right words is difficult. And this is one of them." He shared this sentiment on social media following the official confirmation of his move to Besiktas as a free agent.
Reflecting on his time in Turin, Vlahovic expressed his initial dream: "When I arrived in Turin, I had a huge dream, a great desire to prove who I was, and the pride of wearing a jersey that carries an incredible history." He added on his Instagram profile, "My journey with Juventus is coming to an end. These have been intense years. Years of victories, goals, immense joys, but also difficult moments, yet I have always tried to give my all every time I stepped onto the field. Because wearing this shirt means carrying the history of Italian football on your shoulders, and for this, I will always be grateful."
Vlahovic then extended his thanks: "I want to thank Juventus, Andrea Agnelli, John Elkann, and the entire family, all the people who work behind the scenes every day, my coaches, and especially my teammates. We shared much more than ninety minutes on a football field. Some moments will stay with me for a lifetime."
He also expressed gratitude to the city of Turin: "Thank you to Turin, a city that welcomed me and that has become home for me. Here I grew, not only as a footballer but above all as a man. And then thank you to you, Juventus fans. Every chant, every child with my jersey, every celebration under the curva, every hug after a goal: these are images I will carry with me wherever I go."
Concluding his message, Vlahovic stated, "In football, paths change, but what we experienced cannot be erased. I leave Turin with many memories, with gratitude, and with the awareness that I have left a part of myself here. I arrived with the desire to become part of Juventus's history. I leave knowing that Juventus will forever be a part of mine."
