What’s next for Arijon Ibrahimović following his loan spell with 1. FC Heidenheim?
According to Transfermarkt, it’s not out of the question that the 20-year-old could earn a spot in the FC Bayern squad and get playing opportunities next season.
However, there’s also a possibility that Ibrahimović might spend another season on loan at a different club, or even be sold.
Numerous clubs are reportedly interested in the attacking midfielder: FC Augsburg, Werder Bremen, TSG Hoffenheim, and VfB Stuttgart are said to be monitoring Ibrahimović. From the Premier League, Brighton & Hove Albion, Crystal Palace, and FC Fulham are considered potential suitors. PSV Eindhoven, with whom FC Bayern already maintains good relations, has reportedly expressed their interest through Ibrahimović’s camp, according to Transfermarkt.
Arijon Ibrahimović is Under Contract with FC Bayern Until 2027
The youngster, whose contract with FC Bayern is valid until 2027, developed well during his loan spell in Heidenheim last season, despite not being able to prevent the team from relegation under coach Frank Schmidt. In 34 appearances for FCH, he scored two goals and provided five assists, including one in the spectacular 3-3 draw against FC Bayern on matchday 32.
«Even the pre-season under Frank Schmidt brought me to a very good physical level, allowing me to better utilize my individual qualities,» Ibrahimović told Transfermarkt. «That made my game more complete. It was important to me beforehand to get a lot of playing time and minutes on the field to showcase myself. I succeeded in that, and therefore, I believe it was a very good year for me.»
