FC Bayern Munich has reiterated its stance on Michael Olise, effectively shutting down any further transfer inquiries from other clubs.
According to a report by L’Equipe, the German record champions have unequivocally blocked any advances from interested parties.
«He wouldn’t leave for 200 million Euros. Olise is priceless. He wouldn’t leave even for 500 million. I’m not even sure if Real would get even one leg of Olise for 150 million Euros,» the French newspaper quotes an unnamed member of the Munich board.
The 24-year-old has reportedly generated significant interest, particularly from Real Madrid. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano had previously revealed that a reported 150 million Euro offer, prominently featured in Florentino Perez’s presidential campaign, was intended for the FCB offensive player.
Even as rumors began to surface, Bayern’s leadership, including President Herbert Hainer, had already issued a firm rejection to the Spanish giants, declaring Olise as unsellable.
The Frenchman is under contract at Säbener Straße until 2029 and has established himself as an undisputed key player due to his strong performances over the past two seasons. In the most recent season alone, he contributed 53 goal involvements (22 goals, 31 assists) in 52 competitive matches, playing a significant role in the team’s Double win.
«FC Bayern has completely slammed the door shut, both behind closed doors and publicly, and did not want to enter into any negotiations,» Romano revealed. Consequently, the Spanish club is said to have looked for alternatives and turned their attention to striker Julian Alvarez of city rivals Atletico Madrid.
However, Real Madrid also encountered a rejection there. The offer, officially communicated last Tuesday, was immediately rejected by Atletico, citing the 500 million Euro release clause and even mocking the bid in an X post.
