Abodi: Football has lagged behind other sports, fundamental changes are needed
Andrea Abodi, Italy’s Minister for Sport and Youth, spoke at the Il Foglio event at San Siro.
According to the minister, while other sports disciplines have shown significant progress and development, football, on the contrary, has remained stagnant. Abodi emphasized that to rectify the situation, not only personnel changes, such as changing the president, but also more profound, structural changes are necessary. He called on every member of the football community to take responsibility for these transformations, hinting that current measures are insufficient to achieve the required level of development.
