Former goalkeeper Dino Zoff has endorsed the idea of Maurizio Sarri returning to Lazio. “I think it would be an excellent move,” commented the 1982 World Cup winner. He added, “It needs to send a message to the fans, who are suffering because the team didn`t qualify for European competitions. For him, it wouldn`t be a case of `reheated soup` at all; quite the opposite. I believe he is the right person to guide the club`s management on the players required for a fresh start.”
