Valenti Appointed New Head Coach of Parma Women

Giovanni Valenti, new coach of Parma Women

Parma Calcio has officially announced the appointment of Giovanni Valenti as the new head coach for their women`s first team. The move follows the departure of previous coach Colantuono.

Valenti is set to lead the Gialloblu squad in the upcoming Serie A Femminile championship season.

Throughout his coaching career, Valenti has accumulated valuable experience, particularly within the men`s youth sectors of prominent Italian clubs such as Milan, Juventus, and Brescia. He also served as an assistant coach for the Italy national teams at the U19 and U20 levels (men`s).

He is already familiar with the club environment, having coached Parma Calcio`s U18 men`s team during the 2021/22 season, an experience that provided him with insight into the Gialloblu setup.

In the most recent season, Valenti managed Brescia Calcio Femminile in Serie B. His resume also includes international experience, having coached Brera Strumica, a men`s team in the top tier of the Macedonian league.

Joining Valenti`s technical staff is Michele Cavalli, who will serve as the assistant coach.

Parma Calcio extends a warm welcome to Giovanni Valenti and his staff, wishing them success in their new roles with the team.
