Juventus Women have officially announced the signing of 22-year-old Dutch goalkeeper Danielle De Jong. She joins the Bianconere on a contract valid until June 30, 2028.
De Jong was born in Geldermalsen, in the province of Gelderland, in October 2002. She began her playing career in the VV Tricht youth system before moving to CTO Eindhoven and subsequently joining PSV, where she made her first-team debut at the end of 2020.
From February 2023, she played for Twente, with whom she won two league titles, a national cup (the KNVB Cup), and two Super Cups. Her excellent performances for the Enschede-based team earned her a place in the Dutch national team – with which she is set to compete in the upcoming European Championship – debuting in May 2024 in a victory against Finland.
Now, a new adventure in the black and white colours awaits her.
Welcome to the Bianconere, Danielle!
