Andrea Carnevale, the head of scouting for Udinese, recently spoke on Radio Goal, broadcast live on Kiss Kiss Napoli. He commented that as a club executive, he views Napoli`s recent Scudetto victory as a triumph for the entire club, which successfully established the conditions required to secure their fourth league title. Carnevale noted that initially, Napoli started their campaign with incredible speed, likening it to a “Freccia Rossa” train, but subsequently encountered difficulties. He praised coach Antonio Conte for uniting the team and fostering a strong collective spirit during these challenging moments. Carnevale emphasized that Conte`s primary objective consistently remained victory and offered his congratulations to Antonio for guiding the squad to achieve their final goal.
Turning his attention to striker Lorenzo Lucca, Carnevale stated he couldn`t disclose information regarding the transfer market. However, he affirmed that Lorenzo has unequivocally “proven himself,” citing his record of scoring 22 goals across two seasons at Udine and his status as a national team player. Carnevale declared that Lucca is now “ready” to join major clubs such as Napoli, Juventus, and Milan. He described Lucca as a strong, mature player with good technical skill, labeling him a natural “penalty area animal.” Carnevale added that he is aware coach Conte has a particular appreciation for players of this profile. Concluding his remarks, Carnevale mentioned that he would be content if Lucca were to remain at Udine, as his presence could “guarantee the 15 goals needed to ensure survival.”
