Sports director Malu Mpasinkatu shared his thoughts on Igor Tudor`s first match as Juventus coach.
He noted that Tudor seems very motivated for this new chapter. Mpasinkatu believes Tudor is aware of the limited time he has, but the fans are behind him. Even in his initial public appearances, Tudor showed his Juventus spirit.
Regarding the game, Mpasinkatu was pleased to see Yildiz playing freely, in a role where he can fully utilize his abilities.
Mpasinkatu acknowledged that Juventus is not fully recovered, but winning is a positive start. He emphasized the need to improve the team`s pace and intensity. The upcoming match against a strong Roma team will be a significant test.
Addressing Douglas Luiz, Mpasinkatu called him the year`s disappointment but stressed that he remains a top midfielder from the previous Premier League season. Mpasinkatu advocated for giving Luiz another chance, considering it has been an unusual year for him.
