Tudor Disagrees with Italiano After Bologna Draw

`Igor

Igor Tudor spoke to the press following the match against Bologna, offering his perspective on the team`s performance. Here are his key comments:

Question: Your analysis of the match? Bologna`s coach, Italiano, stated that his team deserved to win…

Tudor: “Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I don`t agree that they deserved it. I believe a draw was the fairest outcome. We prepared for the match differently than we have played before, aiming not to leave space for Bologna. We had a good first half and only lacked a few passes to make it 2-0. In the second half, they found a good rhythm, but I didn`t see a significant difference between the teams. It was a performance of substance for Juve, which gives us confidence for the final three games.”

Question: What are your thoughts on the errors made?

Tudor: “I want to compliment the lads because despite the absences, everyone gave their absolute best, including the substitutes. It`s never easy to come and play here in Bologna.”

Question: In terms of the personality shown, was this the match that satisfied you the most?

Tudor: “Yes, we approached this game like a final, giving up some ball-playing aspects we`ve implemented in other matches. We wanted to win but couldn`t achieve it. However, coming away from here with a point is certainly not a bad result.”

Question: Juventus hasn`t won away from home in 70 days. How do you interpret this statistic?

Tudor: “I never look at these statistics, so I cannot comment on that.”

Question: Could today`s defense be used in upcoming matches as well?

Tudor: “Yes. In particular, I want to compliment Savona; he is a young and talented player, and it`s not easy to come to Bologna and deliver such a performance.”

Question: What did you like most about how your players performed today?

Tudor: “The lads gave their all. I really liked the team`s performance. This match provides us with courage and awareness for the future.”

Question: Any opinion on the referee`s performance tonight?

Tudor: “I prefer not to comment.”
