Tudor Aims to Stay as Juventus Coach

Journalist Calamai reports on TMW: Tudor lacks certainty about his future, but he is doing everything to “keep” the Juventus job. Since taking over from Thiago Motta, the Croatian coach`s work has been described with only positive adjectives. Tudor has restored identity to the Bianconeri, reclaimed a Champions League spot, and revitalized players like Vlahovic and Koop. In short, he has brought the Juventus style back to the forefront. Will this be enough to convince the management to keep him on after the Club World Cup? We shall see. Certainly, Tudor has started strongly, demonstrating the knowledge and personality to lead a big club. The final league position will be crucial, as Champions League qualification is not just a goal but a necessity.

In the Serie A title race, Inter Milan currently leads and can afford to watch the Napoli-Empoli match with a significant advantage. Inter is finding new key players in this demanding final stretch, such as Arnautovic, who is proving to be more than just a substitute. Now, the Champions League is intensifying. Simone Inzaghi`s team will have to manage pressure, and Napoli is also facing psychological strain if they want to win the title, they cannot afford any slip-ups.

Atalanta has restarted at full speed. Gasperini or not, Atalanta has significant technical quality in their squad, demonstrated by their dominant win against Bologna. Both Atalanta and Bologna will continue to fight for a Champions League spot.

Roma and Lazio seem to be out of the Champions League race. The derby ended 1-1, a half-empty glass for both coaches. Lazio and Roma are not in their best form. Hopefully, Lazio can overturn their Europa League first-leg defeat against Bodø/Glimt. It won`t be easy.

Finally, regarding the relegation battle, Venezia seemed doomed a month ago, but they still believe. Coach Di Francesco lacks a prolific goalscorer, but Venezia has energy, courage, and the will to fight. The relegation battle will also be a long and exciting sprint.
