Thousands of Lecce`s `giallorossi` fans gathered for a solemn tribute to Graziano Fiorita, the team`s 47-year-old physiotherapist. Fiorita tragically passed away on April 24 from a heart attack in Coccaglio, near Brescia, where he was with the team before their match against Atalanta (which was subsequently postponed).
The wake was held at the Via del Mare stadium and remained open until 6:30 PM. The funeral procession was then scheduled to leave for Copertino, where the funeral service was planned for the following day at 4 PM at the Holy Family parish.
Numerous fans, friends, and individuals connected to Lecce`s history came to pay their respects to Fiorita, who had served the club for 25 years.
In the early afternoon, a group of ultras arrived, showing silent, unified respect. They placed a floral wreath and a yellow-red scarf on the coffin.
