Responding to fan requests on his `X` account, Paolo Ardoino, the CEO of Tether and a stakeholder in Juventus, criticized the football club`s management. He noted that since Tether announced its investment, particularly in recent days amidst growing fan frustration over the team`s performance, many supporters have asked when Tether would `shell out money` to back Juventus, acquire new players, and so on.
Ardoino stated that Tether is eager to participate in the growth and future of the team. However, he revealed that as of now, the club has not even allowed Tether to participate in the capital increase that was announced a month ago, estimated to be between 15 and 110 million euros.
He emphasized, “We simply cannot contribute if we are not permitted by the club.” Ardoino expressed disappointment, calling it “a real shame to leave willing partners on the sidelines who could invest significantly to help make Juventus Great Again.” He concluded with a sarcastic remark, hoping that “at least the money from my grandstand ticket can help support management`s expenses… Make Juventus Great Again MJGA.”
