Speaking on Radio Marte`s `Marte Sport Live`, director and talent scout Michele Fratini shared some insights into Napoli`s transfer market activities. Fratini revealed that despite the ongoing Scudetto race, Napoli is reportedly very active in their planning, looking ahead regardless of the current situation. He specifically mentioned that the club is closely following three highly promising young talents.
These prospects include Augustin Modica, a 2003-born Italian-Argentine forward currently at Rosario Central, who is also said to be a target for Juventus. The second is Rodrigo Mora, a remarkably talented 2007-born attacking midfielder from Porto, who made his senior debut at the age of 15. The third player mentioned is Savona, a 2003-born full-back from Juventus. Fratini suggested that Savona could potentially serve as a backup option for Di Lorenzo at Napoli, noting that director Manna is well-acquainted with the player.
Turning to the atmosphere in Naples, Fratini sensed tremendous enthusiasm, partly attributing it to a fixture list perceived as more favorable for the Azzurri compared to their rivals. He contrasted this with Inter, who he felt appeared tired and prioritized the Champions League. Fratini concluded by expressing his happiness for the Neapolitan fans, suggesting that an open training session at the Stadio Maradona could provide a significant morale boost for the team. As a Fiorentina supporter, he wished the Scudetto to the people of Naples, praising their unique passion and warmth, adding poetically that “it`s beautiful to see the sun laugh where it should laugh.”
