Speaking on Mediaset, former Juventus midfielder Alessio Tacchinardi shared his analysis ahead of the upcoming match between Juventus and Real Madrid. He emphasized the significant step up required from the Turin side: “If Inter needs to raise their game by one gear in their next match, Juventus needs to raise it by four or five against Real Madrid.”
Tacchinardi believes that young talents like Yildiz and Conceicao possess the ability to create problems for Real Madrid. However, he also noted that Real Madrid is progressively improving with each game under their new coach and evolving tactical approaches, highlighting Vinicius Jr. as a particularly formidable threat in attack.
A major point of concern for Tacchinardi is Juventus`s recent defensive performance. “We`ve seen that Juve is defending very poorly,” he stated, expressing his hope that the team has focused on improving their defensive shape despite the limited preparation time. This is crucial, according to Tacchinardi, because “Real is a team that pushes, attacks, and plays vertically.”
