In an interview with `La Stampa`, Matias Soulè, the Argentine attacking midfielder formerly of Juventus and now playing for Roma, disclosed an interesting background detail about his departure from the Bianconeri last summer.
“While I was playing for Frosinone, I was still owned by Juventus and I thought I would return to Juventus. During the January transfer window, they informed me that they needed to sell me to raise funds, possibly to an Arab team.”
“That deal did not materialize, but when I started pre-season training in the summer, I already knew that I would have to leave.”
