Lega Pro and Rai have renewed their partnership for the next three years. The agreement ensures that the national broadcaster will continue to broadcast Serie C matches. Rai has been awarded the national free-to-air broadcast package, which grants them the rights to air one regular season match per week, as well as playoff, playout, Coppa Italia, and Supercoppa Italia matches. These games will be broadcast on Rai Sport and Rai 2.
This announcement comes from Lega Pro, highlighting the continued strengthening of Serie C. Building on the presentation of a new logo and improved marketing strategies, the renewed collaboration with Rai reinforces a long-standing relationship. This partnership will bring the 60 teams of Lega Pro, representing 19 regions across Italy, into the homes of Italian viewers every weekend.
Rai channels will broadcast both legs of the playoff and Coppa Italia finals, complemented by pre-match segments and interviews related to Lega Pro competitions. Lega Pro has expressed its satisfaction with the agreement, stating that it “confirms the appeal of the league and recognizes the daily work carried out for the clubs.” They added, “Today, these efforts are being rewarded with attention to the product, the young players, and communication. Serie C remains committed across the board, and the platform offered by Rai, whom we thank for believing in the project, represents a great opportunity.”
