Serie C is going green for the 37th matchday of the championship, coloring itself in green to celebrate Earth Day, which is held every April 22nd. Sustainability is central to the agenda of Lega Pro, and Serie C wanted to dedicate an entire round of the regular season in its hottest phase to the ecological theme.
A new logo will become the green patch – produced with sustainable and very low emission materials – that will color the captains` jerseys in the penultimate round. These jerseys are destined to become collectible memorabilia that fans can win at auction for charitable purposes, in support of the Meyer Foundation. The same logo, in the form of a sticker developed with a paper front made of recycled natural fibers, will be present in press rooms during coach interviews, along with a dedicated social campaign. The initiative`s claim `Center of the Earth` will arrive on all fields thanks to the LED perimeter boards, accompanied by a dedicated speaker message.
