Luca Serafini, speaking on Sportitalia, discussed Milan and the Rossoneri club`s decision to backtrack on appointing Fabio Paratici as their new sporting director:

“Whether or not ADISE issued a statement, the fact that the president of ADISE is also the president of Inter is like me being the president of the bar association and also a journalist. It`s not very elegant. And as my dad used to say, `When it thunders somewhere, it rains.` On one hand, there`s this strange anathema against Paratici, who is suspended. But you can buy a player who is suspended, you can hire a coach who is suspended. It`s unclear why you shouldn`t do it with a sporting director. On the other hand, there`s a club that if they get scared by something, it`s clear they weren`t so convinced about their choice. Because if I`ve decided that my sporting director is Paratici, then my sporting director is Paratici. Period. We are back to the usual stories.”
