Rovella Eyes Tudor Revenge Amid Lazio Buyout and Premier League Interest

In Monday`s match against Parma, Nicolò Rovella needs to be extremely careful to avoid picking up another costly yellow card. He is currently on a warning for the third time this season due to his thirteenth booking, a number that stands out as a European record. If he manages to get through the game against the Gialloblù unscathed, he will still need to steer clear of a booking in the clash at Castellani against Empoli, because immediately following that, on May 11th, is the highly anticipated fixture against Juventus.

The Lazio midfielder is reportedly keen on getting revenge against Tudor, who had requested his sale last May, stating Rovella “needed to build up his physique.”

Reports also suggest continued market interest. Top clubs from the Premier League are said to still be keeping tabs on Rovella.

Back in January, Liverpool had reportedly put €40 million on the table for him. However, as confirmed by his agent Riso, the Reds and other Premier League heavyweights like Arsenal and Manchester City are tracking his progress and could be ready to launch an assault in June. Lazio president Lotito`s latest stance was: “He is not for sale, and we haven`t received an offer yet, but it`s normal for our players to be appreciated and desired by top clubs around the world.” In little over a month, Lazio`s mandatory purchase clause from Juventus will be triggered (for €17 million plus €4 million for his friend Luca Pellegrini) following a two-year loan period. Rovella`s hope is to justify his transfer fee by helping the team achieve Champions League qualification and remain at Formello, stating: “I am in love with Lazio.”
