Fabio Rossitto, a former Fiorentina midfielder now working as a coach, commented on Raffaele Palladino`s resignation during an interview with Tuttomercatoweb.
Rossitto indicated that the resignation was «only partly a surprise.» He explained, «There was significant impatience; you could sense a great deal of tension. Palladino performed well, but he was under immense pressure.»
He added that «Florence can be taxing in these situations if you don`t feel appreciated. I am unsure if there were specific disagreements with individuals. I had somewhat anticipated it; the coach did not appear particularly content.»
