Former player Fabrizio Romondini shared his thoughts on the current Serie A season and the intense battle for Champions League spots during his appearance on Tmw Radio`s `Maracanà` program.
When asked if Juventus is the favorite to secure a Champions League place, Romondini stated that in this league, results cannot be predicted merely “on paper.” He acknowledged that teams facing ostensibly weaker opponents might seem to have an advantage, but stressed that the current tournament has repeatedly shown there are “no easy games.” He emphasized that “all matches must be played and approached in a certain way.”
Highlighting the league`s remarkable competitiveness, Romondini remarked, “I don`t remember such an exciting championship.” He explained that success isn`t solely dependent on one team`s performance but significantly influenced by the motivation levels of their opponents, noting that he observes even teams with seemingly little left to play for competing fiercely until the season`s end.
