Roma Transfer Target Wesley Becomes Difficult to Sign, Juventus Keeping Tabs

Roma is reportedly facing a challenging period in the player transfer market. The club is dealing with a 3 million euro fine from UEFA for failing to meet financial regulations. Furthermore, their primary target, right-back Wesley, is proving increasingly difficult to acquire due to the price set by Flamengo and interest from other clubs.

Roma`s plans are complicated by strong competition, particularly from English teams. Brighton submitted a 25 million euro offer, but Flamengo rejected it, insisting on their full asking price. Manchester City and fellow Italian side Juventus, who have been following the player for some time, also remain interested.

Roma`s management must navigate two key challenges: competing with clubs possessing greater financial resources and managing their own finances following the recent penalty. The potential signing of Wesley, while still the priority, has consequently become significantly more challenging.
