According to reports from Gazzetta, Francesco Calvo, Juventus`s Managing Director of Revenue and Football Development, is expected to depart the club for the 2025-26 season. Calvo, who had a previous spell as a Bianconeri executive from 2011 to 2014, rejoined Juventus in 2023 after gaining experience with major clubs like Barcelona and Roma.
Sources suggest he is now in advanced talks to join English club Aston Villa. Over recent months, Calvo was involved in negotiations with various commercial partners for Juventus, including potential deals with Ita Airways, which ultimately did not materialize.
Calvo`s anticipated departure will also leave a vacancy in his position as a federal advisor within the FIGC (Italian Football Federation). This significant role could potentially be filled by former Juventus captain and Italian national team legend, Giorgio Chiellini.
