Former striker Reginaldo discussed Moise Kean in an interview with NewsSuperscommesse. He stated, “I didn`t expect him to perform so well, but I anticipated he would view Fiorentina as a crucial final opportunity to truly revitalize his career, despite his youth.”
Reginaldo noted that, unlike his previous spells, particularly at PSG and Juventus where he wasn`t a key player, Kean has now secured a central role. “He`s playing regularly and senses the faith of the club and supporters,” Reginaldo added.
Reginaldo expressed hope that Kean would remain at Fiorentina, despite transfer speculation, to continue his development with the Viola. He also highlighted Kean`s strong performances for the national team.
“Even though Retegui is scoring more often,” Reginaldo commented, “I think Kean`s traits and abilities could see him overtake the Atalanta forward in Spalletti`s considerations.”
