After overcoming a knee injury, Antonio Rüdiger is in scintillating form, much to the delight of his coach.
German international Antonio Rüdiger can count on the full backing of his club coach, Alvaro Arbeloa. The Real Madrid coach expressed his unusual appreciation, stating: «If you ask me, I’d like to make a statue of Rüdiger and put it in my garden.» Arbeloa emphasized the defender’s professionalism: «From the very first day I arrived here, he was fully available to me and the coaching staff. He sat down with me and assured me he would be ready by March – and he proved it.»
Arbeloa described Rüdiger as «a role model for everyone» and added: «I can only say the very best about my defensive leader. We are immensely grateful to Rüdiger for everything he has done.»
