Milan`s season is one to forget. Winning the Supercoppa and potentially the Coppa Italia would not compensate for a disastrous ninth place in the league and failing to qualify for the Champions League. Furthermore, at the beginning of the season, there were expectations to compete for the Scudetto, an objective Milan never even approached this year.
