Claudio Ranieri, speaking to Sky Sport, commented on Roma`s victory in Lecce: `You always have to believe until the end. It was a difficult match, but the team started very focused. We missed two easy goals and then gave them the chance to score because we lost possession carelessly. The second half was much more of a battle, less structured.`

`It was important to win, the team played and fought,` he continued, `and we know how difficult it is to get points away from home against teams fighting to avoid relegation.`

Then he considered Dovbyk, today`s match-winner. `We need to ask more of him to push him. We do it every day, and the boy is receptive,` Ranieri explained. `I asked for these types of passes because he is good when he asks for the ball in space, and we don`t always serve him, so I asked the whole team to give him the ball and for him to know when to go. We train, we work on it, and slowly he will understand. He is a very sensitive boy, these goals are good for him.`
