The odds of Igor Tudor being confirmed as coach have significantly increased, seemingly as a result of the meeting between the new General Manager Comolli and the Croatian manager. The Club World Cup could serve as the definitive test. However, there`s also renewed speculation about a return for Mancini. The French executive also held talks with Chiellini. Discussions included the choice of sporting director, with Massara, Diego Lopez, and Salihamidzic among the candidates. Tognozzi is expected to return as head of scouting. Sharing his opinion on the coaching situation, Rampulla stated: “I like Tudor because he has a history with Juve and understands the dynamics of this environment well. However, I am convinced that some teams require a high-level, experienced coach, and in that respect, Mancini would fit. But I am certain that the former Italy national team coach is not popular among Juve fans, even if wins can sometimes change perceptions. Igor can do well, and I believe they will ultimately proceed with him. It wouldn`t make sense to have him manage the team in the Club World Cup only to then dismiss him for another coach.” Regarding Conte, he added: “I am disappointed that he didn`t come back to Juve: he is a top coach, and they should have restarted with him because he is one of the best available. He has a contract with Napoli, and I presume he was unable to leave the Neapolitan club prematurely.” Commenting on the club`s structure, Rampulla observed: “I see a lot of confusion; I would grant more authority to Chiellini. I am not familiar with Comolli.”
