Rampulla: Locker Room Issues with Motta, Tudor Needs Club Support

`Rampulla:

Former Juventus goalkeeper Michelangelo Rampulla spoke about Igor Tudor`s arrival as Juventus coach on TMW Radio during Maracanà. He expressed enthusiasm for the change, stating, “There`s always great anticipation and excitement after a change. I join in this sentiment. He played for Juve for many years, we know him, and importantly, he knows the environment. The key is for the players to start giving that extra something needed. This moment has arrived.”

Rampulla suggested there was a breakdown in the locker room with Motta, pointing to the lack of public farewells from players as an indicator. Regarding Tudor, Rampulla said, “Igor is a friend, and I hope he`s the right man. Advice? It`s hard to say. Perhaps to not be too friendly with the players; a certain distance is needed to command respect.”

He emphasized the Juventus group`s need for this type of approach. “Tudor has the ability to make himself heard by the group. And I hope the management supports him. A coach is strong if he has a strong club behind him, assisting him with the players,” Rampulla concluded.
