Prisma Investigation: Trial Against Juventus to Continue

The preliminary hearing judge of the Rome Tribunal has rejected the request from the lawyers of Juventus and former executives to annul the indictment in the Prisma investigation. This decision comes after the judge considered the arguments presented by both the defense and the prosecution, as well as the civil party, Codacons.

The judge dismissed all objections raised by the defense, including requests for an evidentiary hearing and challenges to the constitutionality of the proceedings. Codacons has stated that their requests were accepted by the court, ensuring the trial will move forward.

The next hearing is scheduled for May 19th and will involve discussions from the prosecution and civil parties, as well as the questioning of some defendants.
