Physical Trainer Mimmo Celsi: “Juve Is Physically Fine, But Lacks Quality”

Physical trainer Mimmo Celsi commented on Juventus` match against City yesterday evening. He stated that he didn`t observe a team with preparation issues, noting that “physically they were fine.” However, he remarked that “Juve appeared slow in their passing and lacked precision,” attributing this not to the coach, Tudor, but rather to the inherent quality of the players.

Regarding squad rotation, Celsi expressed his belief that the Croatian coach is best placed to assess the physical condition of the players at his disposal. He added that yesterday, Juventus faced an opponent that was objectively superior.

He concluded by highlighting that their opponent is a club that planned its transfer strategy with the World Cup in mind and invested significantly, spending 400 million euros in the last two transfer windows.
