Patrice Evra Enters the Octagon: Former Juventus Star Makes MMA Move

Patrice Evra is preparing for a new challenge, stepping into the world of mixed martial arts. The former Juventus defender is scheduled to make his MMA debut on March 23rd as part of the PFL circuit.

PFL Europe announced his foray into martial arts on Instagram. Evra expressed his own enthusiasm for this new journey via X (formerly Twitter), stating: “I am officially training for my first fight with @PFLEurope. They will choose my opponent… They asked me who I would like to face. I said: Luis Suárez. I`ll pay out of my own pocket. He can even bite me.”

This humorous remark by the ex-Juventus player likely refers to the infamous incident where the Uruguayan forward bit Giorgio Chiellini during a World Cup match between Uruguay and Italy.
