The new Pope Leo XIV is a great supporter of Roma. This was revealed to ANSA by Father Giuseppe Pagano, from the Augustinian Convent of Santo Spirito in Florence. “With him, a relationship of mutual trust is quickly established. When we traveled together, we even had fun; he`s a person who wants to learn, is interested in things, has many hobbies,” explained Father Pagano. “He loves driving, would do it for hours, loves sports, and in football, he`s a big supporter of Roma. I heard from him after the Roma-Fiorentina match. He told me jokingly: `Roma`s victory is the first miracle of Francis after his death`.”
