Journalist Giancarlo Padovan offered his views on the Serie A title race and Inter Milan`s recent form.
Speaking on Tmw Radio, Padovan expressed his opinion that Inter coach Simone Inzaghi made a mistake by reverting to using the regular starters. He commented that when the so-called reserves, who he believes are more than just backups, were on the field, they brought a crucial `lightness` that proved effective. Conversely, according to Padovan, the team faltered when the primary players were back.
Based on this observation, Padovan is uncertain if Inter will manage to secure a full six points from their remaining fixtures. He specifically pointed out two challenging opponents: Inter is set to face a Lazio side still actively competing for a Champions League qualification spot, and then Como, whom he characterized as having been the `giant-killers` or a difficult match-up for top teams throughout the current season.
